Welcome to Luxury Lady Restoration & LLR Leatherworks!

I started my small business journey in 2020 after having my first baby, & decided to take a chance on starting a small business so I could express my artistic passions, take care of and raise my little one while simultaneously working from home! Thankfully I have been doing cobbler repair & restoration and selling my personal collection of authenticated luxury leather goods since Oct 2020.

 

What I Do!

I take my Pre-loved/Pre-owned authenticated luxury SLG's/bags from my personal collection of items that I own, & sometimes do applicable cosmetic restoration and cobbler efforts (restoring edges, manual color matching, sealing); deep clean and sell to other collectors to give the bags a new lease on life and continued sustainability through a longer lifecycle. I do not permanently alter items to protect value and per regulations. Some small cobbler restoration efforts I do on my collected items in need include; i.e. worn edges, discoloration, color matching correction & minor repair of general wear & tear.

I also hand-make hand-tooled A grade European bull hide wallet inserts with grommeted chains for anyone who'd like an insert for any wallet they already own, to use as a bag!

Sustainability!

Buying pre-owned, second hand wallets or bags from a collector to add to your own collection, not only gives you a new authentic luxury wallet/bag; but you also save that item from ending up in a landfill, save thousands of gallons of water & give that used luxury piece a new lease on life. Restored or cobbler repaired pre-owned items aren't for everyone and are meant to be used as wallets or shoulder bags (if you choose to use a generic chain of your own accord), with your authentic pre-owned luxury wallet.  Always be sure of your purchase and sure that you're comfortable purchasing a pre-owned/used item from a personal collection that could be repaired, over a brand new wallet!

Inventory & Sourcing!

 I am my own inventory procurement as this is my personal collection of items that I choose to sell when I am done. My collection is ever changing & I try to keep a good mix of available 2nd hand luxury brands and colors. I proudly support other sellers to continue the luxury lifecycle and only source from within the United States! All luxury items are purchased pre-authenticated by me for my personal collection, but also go through a separate paid authentication and obtain printed certificates of authenticity once in my possession. Pricing!

My pricing WILL vary depending on the platform it is listed on (both of my platforms have different fee-structures/amounts that I have to pay)

When pricing my items many factors are at play; including the luxury brand, demand for style or brand, age of item, wear to item, full price of inventory for me to purchase, my labor and time spent, supplies, shipping, and finally fees!

 I do not negotiate with lowball offers or entertain low offers of any kind. My time, work and collection are valuable and I always have to make my money back for all of my expenses, plus a certain amount of profit after my efforts/sweat equity on the items from my personal collection!

Sustainability

  • After their use, 73% of produced clothing materials end up burned or landfilled.

  • Buying a pre-owned designer handbag can save over 8kg of carbon emissions and 22 gallons of water on average, when compared to buying a new bag – not to mention save the life of the animal from which the leather is sourced.
